Ex-Chief Minister of Bihar Jeetan Ram Manjhi was in Hazaribagh on Wednesday to attend the Shabri Jayanti ceremony organized by the Bhuinyan Samaj of the district. Former MP from Palamau Manoj Bhuinyan, ex-Minister of Jharkhand Dulal Bhuinyan and some other important leaders of this society also attended the ceremony.
later talking with the newsmen Manjhi said that Bihar is back on old tracks. “Atrocities against the weaker section of the society have increased and once again the entire state is feeling the dominance of only one caste or section,” he alleged when asked whether the jungle raj has returned in the State.
Talking about his crowning and dethroning in Bihar, Manjhi said that he is a victim of conspiracy made by his own fellows. “Actually their intention was making me a puppet CM but when they found it difficult then dethroned me.”
He said that now he is trying to unite the weaker sections and castes of the society so that they can get their rights from both central and State Governments.
