Congress State president Sukhdeo Bhagat deferred his nomination for last day Thursday. The decision was taken in the light of no words coming from the JMM even on Tuesday which was expected. As Bhagat is looking forward and is desperate for the support he decided to wait for the final call taken by the Shibu Soren headed party.
While three other candidates filed their nominations for the Assembly bypoll on Tuesday with their supporters. First among them was former MlA of Bishunpur Ramesh Oraon. Neeru Shanti Bhagat teh joint candidate of the BJP and AJSU filed her nomination as NDA nominee. Several top leaders including MoS Sudarshan Bhagat, BJP State president Ravindra Rai, AJSU chief Sudesh Mahto and other were present at lohardaga on the occasion.
