In a bid to strengthening the security arrangements at Bokaro General Hospital (BGH) management handed over the security arrangements to the CISF cops.
The new arrangement was formally launched on Monday by Director I/c (BGH) Dr AM Kekre and Commandant (CISF) RC Choudhary. Deployment of CISF at BGH will be done in a phased manner in strategic locations, said a PR official.
The CISF Control Room, adjacent to Casualty, will monitor the security of the hospital. Apart from this deployment, installation of CCTV cameras in important locations is also being contemplated.
These efforts will not only help improve the security arrangement of the hospital, but will also aid in regulating number of visitors. In the longer run, these initiatives will help in maintaining better hygiene in the hospital as well for the benefit of patients, official said.
Beside others Director (M & HS) Dr GN Sahoo, Dr KN Thakur Senior doctors of BGH and CISF officials were also present on this occasion.
