Tableaus decorated with saffron flags, idols of Ram Darbar, as well as participants dressed as Ram, laxman, Sita and Hanuman were taken out from Tantri to Tubkadih shiv temple, Bandhdih to Jainamore, Bahadurpur to Kasmar and the most sensitive location — Gayachanda village to Immambara and other locations in Bermo. Police, led by Bokaro SP YS Ramesh, had held a series of meetings with political and community leaders to assess the situation. All police stations were on high alert.
Parts of Bermo, including, Jaridih, Bokaro Thermal, Peterwar, Phusro, Gomia, Chanderpura and Nawadih celebrated Ram Navami with fervour on Wednesday evening. Numerous rallies were taken out with people brandishing swords and tridents, youth as well as children were also seen participating in the celebrations.
Apart from Coal city, mega processions were also organised by right-wing outfits such as RSS, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Hindu Jagran Manch and others in Kathara, Gomia, Phusro, Peterwar, CTPS and Nawadih.
In Giridih, Ram Navami was celebrated with gaiety and fervour. Colourful professions marked the festival. Devotees in large number participated in the celebrations with members of several Akhara committees displaying dare devil acts through out the route.
According to ground reality several philanthropic and social and religious organization had opened stalls to providing drinking water, sarbat and others banners of welcome were made at several places .More than 3000 police force comprising district police, paramilitary forces and units of Rapid Action Police were deployed at strategic location while not control vehicles were put on alert at the police control room both of district Bokaro and Giridih,
