The block development officer of Barkagaon Direndra Kumar has lodged and FIR against the district board member of Katkamsandi east Vijay Singh Bhokta. The BDO has alleged that Bhokta came in his office and wanted to know why he was not invited in the meeting held yesterday in Dand panchayat. My office staffs informed that since he was not a member of that local body committee so invitation was not sent to him. After getting this reply he became angry and started abusing me. He slapped my office staff and threatened me to be ready to face the consequences as he is going to file a case under Harijan Atrocity act against him. SP Bheemsen Tuti said that the case has been lodged and the police will do its job as per law and regulations.
