The allegation of negligence in the kidney transplantation of patient Rajesh Kumar Paswan in Medanta Hospital Ranchi has been found correct in the departmental investigation. While reviewing complaints in the weekly review programme of Jansamvad Kendra here on Tuesday, Principal Secretary to CM Sunil Kumar Barnwal ordered action against hospital management and returning the entire amount taken for the treatment to the patient.
The farmers of Murkunda village of Gumla district did not receive the sum for crop insurance insured in the year 2016-17, Barnwal directed the Nodal Officer of the Agriculture Department to summon the officers of the Agricultural Insurance Company of India to make payment of the insurance claimed with interest. Action against the insurance company was also directed.
