The regular bail petition filed by Barkagaon MlA Nirmala Devi was heard by the district and sessions judge VK Sahay on Wednesday.
After hearing the arguments of both sides, he directed the concerned parties to submit the medical report, injury report and case diary before September 19, the date on which he will again hear the arguments of both sides on this petition.
MlA Nirmala Devi is in judicial custody along with her husband ex-MlA Yogendra Sao and some others named accused in August 14’s Barkagaon incident. Her 14-day-long judicial custody is going to end on September 11 and most probably this time too, the jail administration will arrange their presence in the court by video conferencing.
