In Hazaribagh the Jharkhand bandh call given by various parties got mixed response. Since it was holiday of Buddh Purnima on Monday so most of the central and State Government organisations including university and colleges were closed. The market of Hazaribagh also remains closed on Monday so the bandh supporters didnt find many things to do. They came out in the streets early in the morning and stopped the traffic on NH 33, NH 100 and at Hazaribagh Railway Station. long queue of vehicles were seen at the national highway in the morning but finally police dispersed the band supporters and released the vehicles. As per the news coming from different parts of the district everywhere band was peaceful. In colliery areas it was most successful while in other areas its effect on traffic was mostly visible.
