Chanakya BNR Hotel will organise Baisakhi Food Festival from April 10 to April 19. While addressing the media persons, Food and Beverage Manager Dharmbir Kumar expressed that the food festival was in the form of dinner buffet at Samrat Resturant. The foodies will be served with some traditional Punjabi dishes to mark the harvest festival as well as Sikh New Year. Baisakhi is a festival mainly celebrated in North India in Punjab and Haryana with enthusiasm.
Kumar also said that the festival included live Tandoor , two welcome drink, two veg and two non-veg starters, two non-veg in main course , dal, rice, assorted rotis, north Indian vegetables and three desserts . The buffet will be open from 7.30 pm -11.00 pm during the festival.
Giving details about the food festival Chef Pinaki Mishra and Ashok Poddar said that they will be specially serving some authentic dishes from North India to make the occasion joyous and enjoyable . The delicacies will include Mutton Bhatinda, Chicken SarsonWali Tikki, Saag Tadkewala , PaneerT akatak, Makkiki Roti, Pindi Chana, Amritsari Pulao, Kulcha, lalamusha dal, Gur ka kheer, kala jamun,pyaz mirch ka parantha etc.
