JVM chief Babulal Marandi wrote a letter to the Prime Minister and requested him to initiate a CBI probe into alleged irregularity taken place on resettling displaced of Jharia mines, ring road of Dhanbad, Maithon power project and others. Marandi has alleged that most of the real claimants of the compensation had been discarded and a massive scam had taken place in the land acquisition process for the Central projects.
