State BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo on Tuesday said that Babulal Marandi is misinforming people. “There is no death due to hunger in the State. Now, he wants to sensationalise the issue by connecting death due to illness to starvation, which is sad. It does not suit on Babulal ji to do politics by making false statements on the issue of death. Perhaps, he forgot his track record when he was the Chief Minister he burnt the entire State in the fire of Domicile, which killed dozens of people. There was unrest throughout the State and there was an atmosphere of chaos in the State. Jharkhand had gone back many years due to the Domicile fire. Investors had opted out of Jharkhand. Babulal Marandi is a rejected leader who has lost four Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Pratul said that by defeating both the by-elections this time, Babulal Marandi will become the first person to hold the post of Chief Minister losing half a dozen elections and will get his name in the Guinness Book of Records,” said Shahdeo.
