A meeting of district Congress committee was held at MlA residence here on Wednesday. In the meeting some strategies were discussed to make the Assembly gherao successful to be held on 17 November. JPCC president cum lohardaga MlA Sukhdeo Bhagat said, “Govt wants to acquire the land of tribals, farmers and the poor by making amendment in CNT and SPT act. Congress party protests this and would not let fulfill their desires. Congress would fight from road to parliament for this. The assembly gherao programme of Congress party would be held on November 17 and it would surely be historical. Raghubar govt wants to provide the lands of poor to the business big wigs and so wants to amend the law.”
In the meeting Domna Oraon, Samul Ansari and other Congress party members were present.
