ASJU state general secretary Dr Lambodar Mahto today had a meeting with Zila parisad Tikait Mahto over breakfast, during which the two leaders are understood to have discussed the prevailing political situation in view of the Lok Sabha polls due this year.
Dr Lambodar Mahto arrived here from Ranchi this morning and was given a warm welcome at the Kanjkiro area by ASJU workers and senior leaders, including Zila parisad Tikait Mahto.
This is the ASJU general secretary's first visit to the Nawadih since the dramatic political realignment of last year when Mahto,who had fight by-election from Gomia assembly seat.
Mahto drove straight to the Kanjkiro more where he met Tikait, in presence of Rajkumar Marandi,Gautam Mahto,Ganpat Mahto,Sanjay Agarwal,Khirodhar Mahto,Vikky Prajapati,Ruplal Ganju,Tirloki Panday and Rupesh Prajapati.
Dr Lambodar Mahto is scheduled to hold meetings with party functionaries during his day-long visit and meet Tikait Mahto again before retiring for the day.
