Ace Archer Deepika Kumari on Friday met Sports Minister Amar Kumar Bauri to discuss the issue of delay in getting paperwork for land allotted to her. Three years back the state government had promised to allot a piece of land in Harmu to the international fame archer.
“Three years back the state government had allotted me a piece of land in Harmu (4500 Sq. ft.) but now so many years have passed and still the state government had not allotted me the land, the paper work is still pending with the concerned authorities,” said Deepika Kumari.
However, the file has already been passed from the Department of Housing confirmed, Minister Urban Development C P Singh.
Deepika also discussed lacking infrastructural facilities in the capital and expected that the sportspersons will get full support of the Government.
