The Anuvartanam celebrated its 150th episode of Odishi, featuring Jhelum Paranjpe, one of the senior most disciples of Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra.
Currently, she runs her own institute, Smitalay, that she named after her friend, the renowned actress Smita Patil, where she grooms dancers, some of who have carved a niche for themselves.
The Anuvartanam has truly brought Odishi to the outside world and has showcased hidden talents who rarely get such opportunities.
The Anuvartanam had featured around 300 Odishi dancers, who have been noticed globally and have been provided with an opportunity to present their art before a global audience, where people watch them in the comfort.
Srjan, in collaboration with Sri Sri University, provided a professional virtual platform to Odishi dancers.
