Talking on the Naxal issues Kumar said, “A special anti-Naxal plan is underway to eliminate Naxalism in Jharkhand. “Anti-naxal operations and training of the cops would continue during the monsoon”, he added.
Denying taking help from Army, to curb the naxal menace Kumar said a combined operation in coordination with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), District police and other Para Military Forces would be launched against Naxals soon.
Under Interrelated Action Plan (IAP), Sarands, Jhumra and Saryu development plans are in full swing. The phase wise development works are ‘on’ in these Naxal infested zones. Though, Jhumar surrounded by four districts and due to its geographic locations needs more attention, he said.
Kumar also reviewed the status of other welfare schemes operational in the district.
