Union minister for state for Education Annapurna Devi has slammed the State government for its failure in implementing policies relating to both primary and higher education in Jharkhand.

Talking to the media here after participating in Sixth edition of PM Rojgar mela, she said that the state government is not even  lending its ears to the advisory of the union government as far as the education  sector is concerned.

She said over 90,000posts  of school teachers are vacant  in the state  and due to  a faulty employment policy those remain vacant since long.Same is the condition of higher education as this sector too faces a similar situation .

Commenting on employment policy she said that the policy given by the Hemant Government has brought students on the road.

She alleged  that the state government is not cooperating in the smooth operation of Central schools in the state. It could not find land for the already operational central school in Dhanbad for the last several years.

She said that  the escort party that was provided by the district administration had no knowledge of the location of the Town Hall where she  had to go to participate  in the PM Rojgar Mela.   They roamed about on different city roads  for over  45 minutes till she  asked  Dhanbad MLA Raj Sinha to guide her and then she reached at town hall to attend the  sixth edition of PM Rojgar Mela.

She alleged that  it was  a deliberate attempt of district authorities to misguide her   so that she  missed the program.
