A 32-year-old Anganwadi Sevika committed suicide on Thursday night.
According to police, Malti Devi of Kamlapur Village killed herself by hanging from the ceiling of the roof of her house on Thursday night. No suicide note was recovered. She is survived by her husband and three children.
Her husband Sakti Soren is a daily wage earner. At the time of incident no one is the house.
Malti and Shakti tied their nuptial knots five years ago. A case has been registered and body was sent for postmortem. The reasons behind the suicide are still unknown. Investigation is underway.
