To address party workers at Prabhat Tara ground today

BJP’s national president Amit Shah was given a grand welcome by the party workers after he arrived here at Birsa Munda airport in Ranchi on Sunday evening to take part at a workers’ conference and trigger a wave of fresh enthusiasm among the party workers. Shah’s maiden visit to Jharkhand ahead of the Assembly elections expected by the end of this year is considered to be a significant move in order to achieve mission 42 plus for the party as he may prove to be a power-booster for the BJP.

“It will be a historic move by any of the political parties where a national president and more than 20,000 party workers sit in front of each other and discuss on the issue of achieving mission 42 plus in the coming Assembly elections,” said senior party leader Sanjay Seth.

According to Seth, an extensive discussion will take place among Shah and party workers to bring in the agenda of development among the people in the coming Assembly elections which had brought 12 out of 14 lok seats of Jharkhand into BJP’s kitty. “Shah will be quite helpful in boosting up the morale of the party workers as well as achieving 2/3rd majority in the coming Assembly elections,” said Seth.

According to the party sources, an arrangement for formal question-answer has also been made during the 5 hour long session where workers from all districts, right from panchayat to state level, will be given a chance to clear their doubts by asking direct question to Shah.

To identify workers from different districts, separate sitting arrangements have also been made during the conference, he said.

A grand pandal of 1.5 lakh square feet accommodating more than 20,000 party workers has been raised at Prahhat Tara ground where Shah will have a chit-chat with the workers for over five hours. 43 registration counters have also been set up where the party workers coming from different districts will be registered on a token amount of Rs 10 each.

Moreover, six large lED screens have also been installed inside the pandal for a better view of the national president, besides installing a large number of CCTV cameras for security reasons. Adequate security arrangements have also been made to ensure that no untoward incident happens during the programme. CRPF along with the state police have been deployed to guard the venue during the programme.
