Alternate, better arrangement for Haj pilgrims this time

Published on:

Despite the fact that Haj House was not available to accommodate Haj pilgrims in Ranchi, alternate arrangement has been done by the Haj Committee at two different places Madarsa Jamia, Kadru and Risaldar Baba Community Hall in Doranda. Nevertheless no mismanagement has came into light at the two places as the Haj Committee has roped in adequate volunteers for making arrangements for the pilgrims.

“We have not received any complaint from anybody so far. It shows that the arrangements made by us were perfect,” said Haj Committee PRO Rumi. More than 18-20 people have been deputed to keep both the premises clean for the pilgrims, he added.

Family members of Haj Pilgrims also expressed satisfaction over the arrangement terming it perfect. “We are here for the last two days but have not faced any problem despite the presence of more than 300 people at a time in this small tent. Proper arrangement of water, electricity and toilets have been made by the Haj Committee and the place has also been kept airy by installing so many fans,” said Neyazuddin Ansari who had come from Pakur to see his grandfather off for Haj.

Adis Ahmed of Godda also had no complaint against the arrangements made for the pilgrims. As many as 400 pilgrims along with their family members could be accommodated at a time both at Madarsa Jamia and Risaldar Baba Community Hall. Water is being supplied to the pilgrims through two tube wells and water tanks provide by the Ranchi Municipal Commissioner at Madarsa.

A total of 2764 pilgrims are to depart from Ranchi Airport from August 8 to 27 with 140 people at a time in a flight. There is also a provision of 7 ‘Khadim-e-hujjaj’ from Ranchi to serve those Pilgrims during their trip to Mecca.
