Almin Ansari from Hirhi village of Sadar block lohardaga is bringing the white revolution back in his village. A river of milk flows in his village. Born in a farmer family he has brought his village a name on State level. Milk companies also know the village with the name of Almin. Many people inspired by Almin adopted the business of milk production.

Interestingly, 25 years ago Almin started milk production with two cows only which has reached to 19 now. His desire is to take its number up to 100. About two decades ago when he had started the business, some of the villagers had made fun of him. Now the same people have started the business of milk production following him to be financially strong.

Notably, 280 litres milk is sent to lohardaga dairy per day from Almin’s home. In the village about 1,200 litres milk is produced per day. The village of about 500 residents most of the people are getting their livelihood by producing milk. An average of 4 to 5 litres of milk is produced from each house and is sold in the urban markets.

It may be noted that 80 per cent of the family are not getting any governmental benefits to run their business. In coming days the village can have a distinguished recognition for producing milk.

Almin has also provided employment to two three men to assist his work.

Almin does not have to wander for the sell of milk. He sells at lohardaga dairy about 280 liters per day. It is sold at 20 Rs. per litres. He is very satisfied with his business. Almin gets dual benefits by selling cows dung. About 2 lacs Rs. he gets per year by selling cows dung.
