AJSU party, in order to seek votes of the masses, will reach out them with report cards of individual candidates in their hand along with the problems and priorities on the sitting seats. During the meeting of Election Steering Committee on Thursday, it was also decided to release ‘Janaadesh Patra’ (mandate) before going to the people.
“Election in charge for the respective blocks for lohardaga have been appointed asking them to reach there by Friday,” said party spokesperson Deosharan Bhagat. The party chief however, will be conducting at least one election meeting at each of the blocks before the elections in lohardaga, added Bhagat.
According to the central spokesperson Prabhakar Tirkey, booth committee as well as public-partnership meetings and election meetings of party chief will be fixed in consultation with the candidate. Meanwhile, booth level workers have been asked to start mobilizing the people and ensure that not a single block is left unattended by the central leadership. The party president, in order to ensure the victory of its candidate has also directed to coordinate with the BJP leaders at block and district level accordingly in conducting the election campaign as an alliance has been forged with the BJP.
Bhagat when asked about the negligible number of seats given by the BJP further added that the motive of the party is to ensure winning at all the seats rather wasting time in counting on it. “We are trying to form a government in this state which will be able to last for five years,” Bhagat said. The pre-scheduled parliamentary board meeting fixed for Thursday however, was again postponed for tomorrow where seats as well as name of the candidates will be formally announced by the party chief. The meeting was attended by Prabhakar Tirkey, Hasan Ansari, Barsa Gadi, Vimal Kacchap, Santosh Sahay and Subodh Prasad.
