As all the major political parties have started their preparation of for upcoming general elections which is scheduled to be held in mid of this year but it seems something is not going well in National Democratic Alliance (NDA) as main ally of the State government AJSU Party has announced that it will contest alone all seats of the State Assembly Elections in Jharkhand.
Addressing a press conference on Monday AJSU Party Spokesperson Devsharan Bhagat said, “The party will contest alone all seats of the State Assembly elections which is scheduled to be held in 2019. The Central Committee of Parliamentary Board will decide on future step of the party on upcoming general elections. The party is always raising voice against the government’s decisions on issues like CNT Act, SPT Act, liquor selling issue, para teachers issue etc.”
“As the party’s Central Committee president Sudesh Mahto is continuing his ‘Swaraj Swabhiman Yatra’ and he will visit five thousand people during his ‘yatra’. In last week of February the party will hold a rally called ‘Swaraj Swabhiman Sabha’ at the end of ‘Yatra’ in Ranchi. The party will announce formally at the rally that what will be the future step of the party” Bhagat added.
Just a day before the State Congress Chief Ajoy Kumar said that when AJSU Party will leave the government then Congress Party will start talk with the party for any future alliance. Speaking on the issue Bhagat said, “There is no need of Ajoy Kumar’s suggestions and advice for AJSU Party. The party has its own base in Jharkhand and has been attached with culture of the State. AJSU Party has important role in formation of the State.”
“Ajoy Kumar was a bureaucrat and he has no understanding of social and political issues. He became MP on Babulal Marandi’s party JVM’s ticket and when he was defeated in next elections he kicked JVM and joined the Congress Party. Such kind of leader has no moral ground to give suggestion to party like AJSU. As it is known by all that Kumar belongs to Karnataka, such kind of imported leaders have created such awful condition of the State,” Bhagat added.
Speaking on Mandal Dam issue Bhagat said, “The party is always saying that big projects will make a large numbers of people displaced. The party is demanding on the issue that the government should examine the whole issue properly why the project was pending since 1972.”
