AJSU Party attack Govt in Social Justice March

AJSU Party attacked the State Government for the failures, faulty policies and looting attitude during the Social Justice March organized by the party from Morhabadi to Harmu Ground of the State Capital on Sunday. All senior leaders of the party were present in the programme.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion AJSU Party Chief and former Deputy Chief Minister of the State, Sudesh Kumar Mahto said that the post of Chief Minister and Minister cannot be a learning school. “The Government is formed to make policies and take decisions according to public sentiment. The Government is never formed even for a half-hearted experiment. Those who did not have any leadership ability and vision got power. As a result, in 40 months, the State has suffered a lot socially and politically. OBC, ST and SC have been cheated a lot,” he added.

The AJSU chief said that if the intentions are good then the policies become correct but there is a flaw in the intention of the Government from the beginning. “The Chief Minister and his Ministers say something in the House and something outside while the decisions are taken in the cabinet something else. The Government ignored all the important subjects like local policy, planning policy, OBC reservation, triple test displacement policy, respect for the agitators. Caste census is the basis of social justice, but the Government is not interested in conducting caste census while we and our party have been continuously raising our voice for conducting caste census,” he added.

Mahto said that the Government of 40 months could not implement a single policy clearly. “Neither the policy was made nor did the youth get jobs. The Chief Minister should be asked why the Guman with which Johar Yatra was stopped and what was the basis of Johar Yatra? The truth is that by promising 1932, they implemented 2023. And now a new formula of 60-40 has come, but the Chief Minister never discusses this formula. Here the youth are forced to agitate on the streets. In return, they have to face lathis. The cabinet decision was taken to give employment to 75 per cent local people in private institutions, but when the local policy has not been decided then who will get the benefit of this. It is clearly visible in the phase Jharkhand is going through and both today and tomorrow are being ruined,” he added.

The party Chief said, “We have not come to wake up the Government through social justice march and movement, now the time to wake up the Government is over. The Government of 40 months is not woken up. Hemant Soren has no moral right to sit on the post. Now is the time for the people of Jharkhand to stand up and evaluate the work of the Government. We will not sit idly by for the next 20 months. Through this march, AJSU workers will go from village to village with a resolution and connect with every household. Social justice is the basis of our fight.” He said that corruption has been made etiquette in Jharkhand.  He said that even at the time of Panchayat elections, the Government ignored the OBC reservation, now the picture is the same in the civic elections also, the Government did not conduct the triple test, whereas we had raised our voice for the triple test at the time of the Panchayat elections itself.

Speaking on the occasion the party MP, Chandra Prakash Chowdhary said that a petition was filed on his behalf in the Supreme Court to ensure reservation for backward classes in Panchayat elections. “The Supreme Court gave a clear order to the Government that before the next election in the State, a triple test should be ensured. But in defiance of this order, the anti-backward Government unreserved the seats reserved for backward people even in the municipal elections. We again approached the Supreme Court. But even after so many months, the Government neither got the triple test done nor took any initiative in this direction. On the contrary, the tenure of the elected representatives of the 34 body councils of the State has been abolished and all the powers and functions will now be handled by the administrators,” he added.
