According to the pre declared programme, AJSU demonstrated and marked gherao of electricity office against irregular electric supply. The protest was headed by AJSU central president-cum-MlA KK Bhagat, Suraj Agarwal, Islam Ansari and Anita Sahu.
On the occasion MlA KK Bhagat said, “If there would not be any changes in 15 days the movement will be enlarged and all the official works would be interrupted.”
Central secretary Suraj Agarwal said, “The common man is suffering from the problem of irregular electric supply.”
At last a letter addressing the executive engineer of electricity department was submitted in the office.
The letter included many issues as install separate fidder to the city, change the electric poles, establishment of power sub station of 5 MBA and 10 MBA, installation of 25 KB transformer in rural areas and many others to improve the electric facilities.
