AJSUs Hazaribagh assembly segment in-charge Pradeep Prasad, who is leading the agitation of citizens against the decision of indiscriminate hike in holding tax, has said that as per advocates advice his team has procured all the necessary documents to file a PIl in Jharkhand high court against this decision.
Talking with newsmen he welcomed the decisions of Municipal Corporation board meeting held yesterday but added that the Mayor, Deputy Mayor and ward councilors are still not coming so openly against this decision though they are in this position today due to the votes and faith the people had given to them. Actually they have failed to fulfill the aspirations of the common people of this town and in coming election they will have to pay for it.
Talking about his next steps he said that on 3rd of February the agitators will lock the office of the private agency assigned by the state government to fix and collect the holding tax.
When asked about the date of filing of PIl he said that they are going to Ranchi to handover the papers to the advocate and probably within a week he will file the PIl.
