Workers express their commitment to Jharkhand

The AJSU party on Sunday made yet another move towards Assembly election and organised an ‘oath-taking ceremony’ for party workers in  Ranchi. Thousands of party workers flocked the Prabhat Tara Ground and took pledge to reach out to the people and express their commitment to the State by following three-principles which the party supremo Sudesh Mahto considered crucial for making Jharkhand strong and prosperous.

The workers were asked to reach out to people- by educating an illiterate person, donating one unit of blood and planting a sapling— to bring about a change in the State polity and to fulfill the dreams of those who had sacrificed their lives for the State. Mahto urged party workers to communicate their party’s ability to fulfill their dreams and make them believe in the party. Workers from all districts of Jharkhand attended the function.

“We need to increase discourse with public and work as a missionary. The State has reached a stage where those who had taken oath to protect rights of people are doing injustice. Democracy is now for namesake and people are longer a part of it. We need to teach a lesson to those who are responsible causing a setback to the emotions of the State,” maintained Mahto.

Senior party leaders condemned politicians who have been in the centre of power and yet failed to uplift people of the State. The party although tried to portray itself greater than a regional party by talking about the country that was evident by the speech of leaders, fell back on the agenda of jal, jangal and jameen which is characteristic of regional parties.

“In last 14-years fate of a politician has changed whereas people have become impoverished. Only AJSU can change the fate of State,” said Hatia MlA Navin Jaiswal. Other senior leaders of the party present on the occasion were Chandra Prakash Chaudhar, Ramchandra Sahis, Kamal Kishore Bhagat and Umakant Rajak.
