AJSU party will take to streets with  the questions of 3.25 crore people of this State. Addressing the party workers during party’s central committee meeting held at Jonha in Ranchi on Tuesday, AJSU Chief said this while pointing out that the interest of 83 per cent ‘moolwasi’ (locals) population are being regularly ignored by the current Government, and the Government and private jobs are deliberately being snatched from them due to loopholes in the domicile policy of the State Government.

“Battle of social justice will be concluded and state wide programmes will conducted demanding 27 per cent reservation to the backward caste, 14 per cent to scheduled caste and 32 per cent to schedule caste people living in the state,” said Mahto. Voice in this regard was being raised by the AJSU party through movements and other medium but no heed was being given by the State Government, he added.

Mahto further said that the State Government is concerned only about the minerals and forest reserve of this state while 75 per cent of the moolwasi is still dependent upon agriculture, and are being neglected regularly. Even the budget is passed without discussion in Vidhan Sabha which is not a good sign for a healthy democracy.

“land in Jharkhand is not safe as the land acquision bill has once again been sent to the Centre for approval despite all round resistance. Violation of CNT Act was done in the State Capital itself against which matter is still pending in SAR court since long,” said Mahto. lands are being allotted on throughway price in the name of Government projects by violating the land acquision Act.

Seven agenda were passed during the central committee meeting. Earlier, bhoomi pujan for raising a statue of Birsa Munda was also done in presence of Minister Chandra Prakash Chaudhary, MlA Ramchandra Sahis and the descendents of martyrs Siddho-Kanu and other party leaders and workers.
