AISECT University, Hazaribagh will give students a strong platform in the field of higher education accompanied with skill development. From session 2016-17 the university is starting its journey at Hazaribagh, admissions are going on and soon erection work of university campus in 32 acres area will start here,” said Chancellor of AISECT University Professor Santosh Chaubey at a Press conference here on Monday.
Talking about the specialty of AISECT, Chaubey said that their organisation is 10 years ahead in comparison to Central and State universities. Semester based system, dress code, special facilities to girl students, economically weak but meritorious students, placement facilities are the main features of AISECT.
When asked about the need of another university at Hazaribagh he said that the Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) of Jharkhand is 9 and it needs to be raised. That is why the present government is inviting private universities here. There are 300 private universities in this country in which about 40 per cent students of higher education are enrolled. Since the government doesn’t have extra money to spend on education so for quality education and making the youths eligible in sustaining in the era of competition the need of AISECT University was identified and so we are here.
