An action plan is being prepared for making generic medicines available to needy patients in rural areas as well. There are many things in the health sector which need to be prepared at the ground level. It is our priority that all the district headquarters hospitals of the state work in the presence of specialist doctors,” said the CM in his address as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of 1st Nephro Critical Care Conference-2023 organized at Gymkhana Club on Saturday.

Soren said that a lot more work needs to be done to strengthen the health facilities in Jharkhand. The state government is preparing a better action plan in the health sector. The CM said that he had gone to Budha Pahar located in Garhwa district in the past. There was a time when Budha Pahar was under the control of Naxalites. The people of the rural areas near Budha Pahad were prohibited from visiting this mountain. The people there still do not even know that there is a city like Ranchi in the state. It can be understood from this what would be the condition of the health facilities there. Our government continuously thinks for the betterment of health facilities.

The CM said that Azim Premji, who is doing better work in the health sector in many parts of the country, is also going to join us very soon. The state government has provided 300 acres of land to Azim Premji where a medical college will be set up along with health facilities. Azim Premji's organization will coordinate with the state government to provide health facilities to people in remote rural areas. There are many such institutions, including Apollo, providing services in the health sector, whose services in Jharkhand, the state government is preparing an action plan. He said that our government will soon lay emphasis on strengthening health facilities in the state by making better coordination with private hospitals.

Soren said that when the condition of elite states of the country was worse during the global epidemic Covid-19, then our state Jharkhand presented an example of better management and worked to save the people of the state from this infection. We did not do any miracle during the transition period, but it was the result of the better coordination of all your doctors and the state government that problems like corona infection could be handled carefully. The role of all of you doctors was important during the Corona transition period. He said that this two-day 1st Nephro Critical Care Conference program would prove to be a milestone in the health sector. Whatever suggestions the state government receives from the expert doctors in the Nephro Critical Care Conference, the state government will definitely consider those suggestions.
