A review meeting was chaired by Minister for Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department, -cum-In-Charge of Minister of Garhwa, Badal at Circuit house here on Thursday. Deputy Commissioner, Rajesh Kumar Pathak, Superintendent of Police, Anjani Kumar Jha, District Agriculture Officer, Ramashray Ram, District Cooperative Officer Amita Kumari, Nazarat Deputy Collector, Sanjeev Kumar Singh and Forest Divisional Officers etc were present in the meeting.
The minister reviewed mainly the departments of agriculture, animal husbandry, cooperative, supply, land conservation. etc. He took information from the officers present of all the departments about the various schemes going on in their department and necessary guidelines were given to improve them and achieve the target. He asked all the district level officials and public representatives present on the occasion to extend requisite cooperation.
The minister directed all the officials at the district level and block level to work in coordination with the 20-point vice-president and the nominated members/officers at the block level.
Apart from this, on the complaint of irregularities found in paddy lifting in Meral block, District Cooperative Officer Amita Kumari was directed to investigate the complaints found against Block Cooperative Officer Manoj Prasad Gupta and take necessary action. Along with this, all the packs were asked to lift the paddy and work towards increasing the number of packs. The updated status of irrigation schemes was discussed.
He also expressed regret over the incident of assault of the beneficiary in Garhwa block and while discussing it, the minister directed to take necessary action against the culprits after conducting a necessary inquiry. During the work done for water supply in urban areas under the Jal-Nal scheme, the roads have been damaged and abandoned by the contractors, which the minister took seriously and necessary instructions were given to repair it. If the roads are not repaired by the concerned contractors, then action was also directed against them.
The minister said that a 20-point meeting should be held soon and the meeting was ended by giving instructions to achieve the target successfully.
