Hazaribagh district administration sealed the famous Pradhan Cafeteria of the town on Saturday. Executive magistrate Kumud Kumar Jha and special officer of Hazaribagh Municipal corporation Ashish Kumar sealed the cafeteria on Saturday noon as per the order of SDO Hazaribagh and deposited the keys in his office.
Pradhan cafeteria, which is situated near the court campus, was running on a piece of land taken on lease from the municipal corporation. Some denizens of the town had made a complain in CM office that the owners of the cafeteria have encroached the land of ‘Mitha Talab’ of the town and it has become a centre of immoral activities.
As per the order of CM office last month a team of district officials had made a raid their and had taken many boys and girls in custody. When the land occupied by cafeteria was measured it was found that it has captured almost six times more land legally taken by the owners on lease. The team of officials also found that the owners were violating the terms and conditions written in the agreement paper.
On this report the district administration first filed an FIR against the owners and directed them to close the cafeteria. The owners donot obeyed the order then SDO Shashi Ranjan , who had led the inspecting team, finally issued order to seal the cafeteria.
