More than 250 Magistrates have also been deployed to take a close vigil on the miscreants.

We have deployed adequate number of security forces for Muharram while the police force deployed in the Puja Pandals will move along with the procession of idol immersion till the immersion is done," said Ranchi SSP Prabhat Kumar.
According to Kumar, maximum number idols will be immersed on Friday only, while the remaining will be immersed on Saturday for which adequate security arrangements have been done en-route to the water bodies as well as the localities where Muharram are being observed.
