On the occasion of International Women's Day, the District Administration under the banner of Swach Bharat Mission will organise a Convention at Ramasahu High School ground on Thursday.
Women representatives and workers of different department who have done outstanding work will be honored in the programme. For this, the district administration has sought out the list of women workers and panchayat representatives who perform excellent work from different departments ,
Garhwa DC Dr. Neha Arora said chaired a meeting with the officials of different departments to make the success of the programme organised on Women's Day. In this she assigned works to different officials. The DC designated the deputy development commissioner in charge for identifying the women group and arranging to provide loans with coordination of lDM DC directed the executive engineer of PHED for ensuring to give detailed information related to SBM, nominating women.
She instructed to Civil Surgeon arrange for setting up of Health Check Counter and City Council Providing sanitation and drinking water systems. The DC also instructed to the officials to organise cycling, musical chair race, frog race, quiz competition, cultural events and more.
