With the onset of summer, the Garhwa residents have started facing water crisis. As the PHED fails to make arrangements for additional water supply during summers, water crisis is all set to deepen especially in June. To face with the water crisis district administration has start the process to shot out the problem.
Garhwa DC Neha Arora has released `1.70 crore to the District Board for installing of deep tube wells in the district.
DC directed to the PHED Executive Engineer for preparing a list to installing new tub wells where water crisis prevailed. Such list would send to the Government for installing of new tube wells. She all ready directed to PHED rectify the faulty tube wells in the district.
Water would be supplied through the tankers in urban area while new tube wells would be installed in the rural areas where water crisis prevailed, DC said.
