Adani Foundation has organized a Health Camp today in Utkramit Prathmik Vidhyala situated in Balodar at Badkagaon, Hazaribag. The camp was organized with the support and coordination of the Badkagaon Community health center. A team of doctors and paramedical staff rendered their medical consultations to patients. After monitoring vitals such as BP and Pulse rate of each patient in the camp, the medical team provided consultation and medication as required.
The camp witnessed the participation of more than 100 villagers including elderly persons, women, children, and infants. A team of highly qualified pediatrics from Community health care examined and vaccinated infants. Villagers bloomed with happiness after receiving satisfactory consultation, which is not accessible to them easily.
Not only this, in the camp, free ECG, GRVS (Blood Sugar), BP, weight check, cardiac, and general check-ups were done by the team. A session on general health awareness was conducted wherein villagers were made aware of the importance of personal hygiene, coronavirus, and other general good habits. Villagers thanked Adani Foundation for the camp and said ‘Such camps will help us stay healthy. More camps should be organized.’
The doctor advised villagers to take care of themselves by continuing to follow Covid Appropriate Behavior and not go out during rains. Doctors also appealed to show up at the hospital in case of any flu-like symptoms as covid is not over yet and precaution is the only way to stay safe.
