Palamau police are working on accommodation issues of the Central Para Military Force (CPMF). Schools and colleges buildings and premises will be taken briefly for the housing CPMF before their departure for interiors in the area.
Girivar school, YSN Mahila college, JS college , GlA college in Daltonganj are the places for accommodation. Forces have been staying here in the elections in the past. A couple of new buildings awaiting occupancy may also be used for housing CPMF. SP Palamau Y S Ramesh said the police and the civil administrations are working together on this issue and such buildings awaiting occupancy by the people for whom it is meant is first to be engaged by us most temporarily for the polls here.
The forces come 10 days before the polls and go for a massive area dominance in the lWE ( left wing extremist) hit district. Some contingents arrive 3 or 4 days ahead of the polls. Since April 10 the day of voting here in Palamau, Garhwa, latehar which is a second phase of polling CPMF is expected to arrive well before the polling day.
