The event will have participation of 15 speakers across the country
The second season of TEDx Kanke will be held on Saturday at Hotel BNR, Chankaya. The curator of the event is Rajeev Gupta, who has received the license from TED, USA to organize the event. This year's theme of the event is ‘The Billions Dream’ which will have stories of those who have dreamed and then turned mountains to make their dreams come true.
Gupta held a press conference a day before the event and said that this year the TEDx Kanke will have 15 speakers in the fields of innovation, leadership, creativity and Art & Culture both nationally and internationally.
Gupta said, “Some of the speakers who will be attending the day-long session are Aakanksha Monga, a passionate blogger and writer balancing herself with her financial portfolio in the corporate world. Angand Daryani, maker of India’s first 3D printer which is the world cheapest 3D printer, Shubhashish Chakraborty, an award winning filmmaker, poet and story writer who works tirelessly in the field of community development.” The TEDxKanke will also have participation of Harish Patel an Indian character actor who has appeared in various Bollywood films. He made his debut in Mandi directed by Shyam Benegal has gained prominence for his performance in TV serials such as Malgudi Days and Goaplj among others.
Apart from these other speakers includes, Temsutula Imsong, president of Sakaar Sewa Samiti an NGO known for inspirational initiative in cleaning ghats of Varanasi, Ali Afroz , the topper of All India Law entrance Test 2018 in the differently-abled category. Temsutula Imsong, sharing her experiences, said that her NGO along with public participation is working in the field of sanitization. Her NGO has worked in cleaning ghats. She also said that the government too has done a lot in cleaning ghats and streets of Varanasi.
The speakers in 13 to 18 minutes will share their views and vision of billions of Indian. TEDx is a fully day event curated by Rajeev Gupta and co organize by Kanishka Poddar, CM Chugh, Priti Gupta, Kailash Manjhi, Bijendra Sharma, Shamit Chakravarty, Pravin Rajgharia and others with an audience from corporate, government and different institutions of Pan India.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren has extended his best wishes to the Team of TEDXKanke for organizing this event and also extended the warmest welcome to all the speakers to Jharkhand.

The first season of TEDx Kanke was held in February 2020 and had seen speakers from both India and abroad in diverse fields. Till date TEDxKanke has organized 50webinar series, one studio and circle event each.
