An Anti-Corruption Bureau team of Hazaribagh divisional office nabbed the head clerk of Hazaribagh’s civil surgeon office Rudal Singh taking Rs 4000 as bribe from another staff of his office named Raman Kumar. The alert ACB team nabbed him red handedly after taking the amount.
Rudal Singh had demanded bribe to pass the earn leave file of Raman Kumar which was pending in his office for thelast more than three months.
Raman had made a complaint with ACB. As per the direction of the team members, Ramon on Saturday handed over the amount to the head clerk.
After being arrested, Rudal Singh said that his fellow Raman Kumar is an accused of corruption. “An investigation is going on against him in connection with anomalies in purchase of equipments for trauma centre worth Rs 18 lakh. That file is in my office so he had deliberately framed a net to trap me,” he said
