An anti-corruption team (ACB) from Palamu arrested a Panchayat Sewak posted at Tamge Kala Panchayat under Ranka police station Binod Prasad Gupta red handed taking bribe of Rs 2,000 from a villager Mantorwa Devi on Thursday.
According to sources, Mantorwa Devi wife of Sardar lohra a resident of village Ulja under Ranka police station lodged a written complaint to ACB Palamu mentioned that Panchayat Sewak Binod Prasad Gupta demanded of Rs 2000 bribe for release second installment of construction of awas under Indira Awas Yojna. After verify the matter ACB team raided the house of one Panchayat Sewak and arrested red-handed to him during taking bribe.
