A group of students led by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) State joint secretary Ravi Prasad Singh visited the university branch office of the Graduate School College for Women to protest against the poor results especially in arts and science in part I (2013-16) and part II (2012-15) announced recently.
Ravi Prasad Singh said that the organisation demands change in teaching pattern. The pass percentage of arts, science and vocational subjects for part I and II have been in between 30 per cent to 35 per cent, which compelled students to question the method that the Kolhan University adapts in evaluating answer sheets. The ABVP student activists are now planning to intensify their agitation against the university.
