The Vinoba Bhave University unit of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad has decided to give candidates in every colleges of the university in the student union election going to be held here in November-December this year.
A meeting of office bearers and important volenteers of ABVP took place in their office situated in Nawabganj area in which Ranjeet Rai was choosen as the convener of this election for their organisation. Manoj Gupta and Rajesh Sah will assist him as co-conveners in this election.
In this meeting it was decided that the organisation will give candidates in all colleges of the university and will try to fight for all the seats of the colleges. For university level student union election selection of candidates will be made by a committee comprising Vinod Ekka, Vinod Mahto and Roshan Singh.
ABVP has also decided to issue its election manifesto and the responsibility of drafting it has been given to Pankaj Mehta and Sanjay Mehta. In this meeting incharges for different colleges and PG departments were also selected.
Vikash Yadav has been given the reponsibility of university PG campus, Mukesh Mohan Prasad will look into the affairs of St Columba’s College, Navlesh Singh and Gaurav Mishra will act as incharges of Markham College of commerce and Annada college, while Ruby Mehta will be the incharge of KB Womens college. Rupendra Mahto has been given the charge of Karranpura college Barkagaon, Virendra Gupta of RMYM College Barhi, Sumit laheri of university law college and Roshan Kumar of university college of engineering and technology.
It was decided to arrange meetings at different divisional headquarters and to choose incharges for election of different colleges. After a gap of about 6 years the student union election is going to be held in VBU and every student organization has started prepairing to participate seriously in this election.
