AAP re-opens office in Jharkhand

Having made its presence felt on several other occasions, the Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Admi Party (AAP) made another attempt to get an address in Capital city. The party eyeing for its electoral participation in the State in the next polls inaugurated a State office on Sunday.

The party on the occasion promised an alternative and corruption-free Government in State and kept on accusing local establishment in its own nurtured style. The office was inaugurated by Delhi MlA and Bihar-Jharkhand in-charge of the party Sanjeev Jha in presence of some 150 workers.

He said that party was the only front-runner in forthcoming Assembly elections in Punjab and was going to form Government there with a victory larger than that of Delhi last year. Pawan Pandey, Shailendra Singh, Sanjit Kumar and Anit Jha (all Central Monitors of Party in Jharkhand), State Convener of labour Cell of the Party Prem Kumar and State Convener of CYSS Rajan Kumar Singh were also present at the occasion.

Jha went to Birsa Chowk for garlanding the statue of Birsa Munda before inaugurating the office at Harmu Housing Colony. He said that party was working on grass-root level to make its presence felt across Jharkhand. According to Party, formation of the District Committee has already been successfully done in as many as 19 districts of state and Party Committee in 37 blocks of different districts, while the same was in progress in remaining districts also.

Accusing the BJP Government in Jharkhand, Jha said that it would always be AAP vs all in States like Jharkhand. He said that the Government was totally busy in robbing the state and its abundant natural resources. “Both BJP and almost non-existent opposition have been looting the State from day one.”

The fact is that Jharkhand seriously lacks an active and live opposition, as JMM, AJSU, Congress, RJD and others have nothing to oppose because they have also looted the State in same manner when they happened to be in power in past,” said Jha.

Discussing about the activities of the Party in State at length, Jha said that the party was actively participating in laying pipeline for water supply to small colonies in Dhanbad and was fighting actively for removal of DDC, BDOs and other officials involved in corrupt practices in MGNREGA related works.

He praised CYSS, the student wing of the Party for organising Student Dialogue in every district and working on the solutions of their problems. He said that the District Committees of labour Cell of the Party have already taken shape in 12 districts, whereas rest will follow soon.

Jha said that the incompetence of governance will make way for the Party in forthcoming elections in Punjab and Goa. “We will lead in both the states with huge margin. In fact we don’t even find someone to compete with there,” said Jha. On the question of naming a State President for Jharkhand, Jha said that the face was never important for Party, but organisation was.
