The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has joined the election fray in the Palamu lok Sabha constituency as one Kishundhari Ram filed his nomination from the party’s ticket.
The JD(U) in a calculated move fielded Jorawar Ram. Jorawar Ram is the maternal father-in-law of former top cop VD Ram now the BJP candidate from here. Political sources said the JD(U) has tried to upset the political apple-cart of VD Ram. On the last day of nomination here on Saturday in Palamu, eight nominations were filed.
RJD candidate Manoj Kumar -- accompanied by Annapurna Devi (RJD MlA Minister), KN Tripathy (Congress Minister), Girinath Singh (State president RJD), Sanjay Kumar Singh Yadav (RJD MlA) and Anant Pratap Dev (Congress MlA)-- filed the nominations.
