The district administration has approved the proposal of booking 70 persons under the Crime Control Act. The SP office has started issuing notices to all such booked persons with an instruction to present themselves either in a week or a month in their respective police stations to register their presence and to give the details of their activities during last one week or one month. According to sources SP Anoop Birthare had ordered the officers in charge of all police stations to submit the list of all those living in their areas having past record of involvement in different types of criminal activities and now a days they are outside the jail after getting bail from the courts. As per the order lists from almost all police stations submitted it in SP office and among them the maximum number of persons included was in the list submitted by sadar police station Hazaribagh.
In first phase a list of about 75 persons were sent to the Deputy Commissioners office. The DC office after scrutiny approved the names of 70 persons who were booked under CCA in this phase.
later another list was also prepared in which names of about 150 persons are included.
