Central Government received proposals for constructing 637 roads and 51 bridges worth `1057.87 crore from Jharkhand. It has been recommended by the Inter Ministerial Empowered Committee, MoS, Rural developmentRam Kripal Yadav informed RSa in reply to a question from Rajya Sabha MP Parimal Nathwani. He had queried whether any proposal from Jharkhand for maintenance and modernisation of roads in the rural areas is pending with the Government.
