Police have arrested six people including Shoka from Banda Singa of Barkatha and the gang leader who cheated in the name of providing on-demand call girls by creating fake IDs on obscene websites. Cheque Books of 11 different banks, 13 passbooks, and 11 ATM cards besides a Santro car, motorcycle and mobile set of eight different companies have been recovered from them.
SP, Manoj Ratan Chauthe said that the kingpin of the gang is Nand Kishore Nayak alias Kishore Nayak, alias Kishore Saw, a resident of Banda Singa, Barkatha. In the raid, documents of land transactions worth Rs 50 lakh were also found from his house. It was also informed that Kishore has a luxurious house in Korra, in which the lodge is operated.
The police are searching the history of all the arrested criminals and are also making a list of their disproportionate assets.
