55% people voted for NDA: Shahdeo

State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP ) on Saturday said that 55 per cent people of Jharkhand voted to National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and kept Opposition party leaders far away from winning margins.

State BJP Spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo today said that NDA got majority votes in 63 seats out of 81 Assembly seats, which means that in 75 per cent seats the NDA was leading.  BJP alone was ahead in 57 Assembly constituencies. “The opposition played a very negative and destructive role in Jharkhand politics for the last four years.  People send their MLAs with big hope, but their MLAs did not allow the Assembly to run for most of the time. By giving such a huge majority to the BJP, the public has clearly exhibited the Opposition that it does not like the destructive role of the opposition,” he added.

Speaking on the issue of Opposition’s role Shahdeo said that a strong Opposition has a very important role in democracy. “Therefore, the Opposition party leaders should come ahead of their personal interest and cooperate in the development work done by the government in the interest of the State. Just like voters in the country, the people of Jharkhand have completely rejected the family oriented parties and negative politicians,” he added.

Mocking at former Chief Minister, Hemant Soren the Spokesperson said that after repeated question of the Chief Minister and BJP the former Chief Minister Hemant Soren did not reveal his permanent address.
