The 51st Foundation Day of Management Training Institute (MTI), Steel Authority of India ltd (SAIl), Ranchi was celebrated till late night on Tuesday. The day was inaugurated by welcome song sung by MTI Employees Wives Association(MEWA).
SK Jaiswal in his address appreciated the important role MTI was playing by training the senior executives of SAIl. He also emphasized the importance and need of ethical behaviour by everyone. He also distributed the High Performance Awards to the employees. The special issue of ‘Growth’, the quarterly Management Journal of MTI was released by Jaiswal.
Manas R Panda, Executive Director (HRD), MTI in his address said that MTI will strive further to enhance its contribution in the progress of SAIl.
The employees and their family members performed dance, drama, skit and songs which drew huge applause from the gathering. Earlier as part of the foundation day celebrations, sports and games competitions were organised for the employees and their family members. The Case Study competition ‘Anubhav’ and ‘Udaan’, the Business Quiz for Corporates were also organised as a part of the celebrations. SK Jaiswal, Principal Director of Commercial Audit (PDCA), Ranchi was the Chief Guest of the cultural function organised at MTI.
