5 examinees detained, coaching centre sealed in Palamu

Munna Bhai MBBS racket has been busted in Daltonganj. The racket is that a deal is struck hefty fees are accepted and then passing or qualifying the examination is guaranteed. A few coaching centres here have this malpractice since long said sources.

Speaking to The Pioneer Sadar SDO Nancy Sahay said,  The Special Branch had tipped off of some racket going on in a few coaching centres here in the town. On Monday we raided lakchhya coaching centre and skeletons started tumbling down from its cup boards'.

Nancy Sahay said there are a few more coaching centres operating here which are under our scanner now following the Special Branch tip off about them.

She said this coaching centre set up on the CJM road here has an old history. She said the director Ravi Kumar has told us that in the 2014 and 2015 JAC's Matriculation examination the centre has done works which are dubious and fraudulent.

She said the Monday Feb 20 raid made us confront 5 youths from Bihar all armed with JAC's admit cards for the ongoing Intermediate examination here. She said they are from Hajipur and Chapra. The question is when BIhar state is holding the same Intermediate examination at this time there in the state why these five came here for the same examination of JAC here.

One of the five Bihar youths said for admission his father has coughed up 5,000 rupees to this coaching centre.

Sadar SDO said this coaching centre has two Intermediate colleges on its hook one each at Chainpur and the other at Parwa More where it arranges sitting of its candidates.

Nancy Sahay said what we have laid hands on is just a tip of the iceberg. The racket is well knit and organised. There may be more players in it.

Nancy said ' The scanning of What'sAP messages on the coaching centre director Ravi Kumar is very surprising. First codes are used like four each student which means either foir thousand or may be four lakhs since this code message was in refrence to SSC examination and its employment'.

There are messages from as far a place as Bengal too. The messages are for students to be exchanged @ of four! ( thousand or lakh no one can vouch now).

The five from Bihar who were armed with JAC's admit cards were permitted to take their Monday Intermediate examination under the custody of the police as these five are to return to Daltonganj police station after the examination.

Daltonganj police are mooting the idea to secure a bond from the five in this connection.

Sadar SDO said the coaching centre helps and abets in the use of unfair means by gadgets like the one where she added ' A call came at the time of our raid here on Monday wherein a the caller a girl was asking the director Ravi if there would be some arrangement for her Monday examination'.

She quipped ' What does this meanIJ Prima facie it means that admission, registration and securing admit cards for sitting in the examination here by this coaching centre is done only for very dubious and malafide purposes'.
